Good Artist, Bad venue
The concert was good, but not great overall. I was disappointed that Train did not play more original music, as the covers he performed were good. Why do covers when you can perform your own music? Instead of hearing other people's music, I would have loved to hear "Daughters & I'm gonna find another you."
The parking situation at the Toyota Pavilion is terrible. Instead of filling up the closest lot first, they make you park at the top of the mountain, requiring a challenging trek to get to the show. Traffic control was poor, and the journey involved a long walk over rocky deer trails. Additionally, if you enjoy beer, be prepared to pay $8.75 for a drink.
